Privacy Policy
Notereef is an app for notes, plans and personal finances, for Windows and Android. This
page says what the app keeps about you, where, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Patryk Barszczewski, the developer of
Notereef. Questions and requests:
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com.
What Notereef keeps
| What |
Details |
| Your account |
Your email address; your password, kept only as a hash that nobody can read back;
the name you gave; your language, currency and first day of the week; how you
arranged Home; a profile picture, if you add one.
|
| What you put in the app |
Workspaces and pages with their text; calendar events; tasks; finance entries
(income and expenses, stocks and other assets, savings goals); shared expenses
(groups, the names of the people in them, amounts); whiteboards and what is drawn
on them; organizations.
|
| Sharing |
Who you share a workspace, a whiteboard, an expense group or an organization
with, their role, and invitations waiting for an answer.
|
| Activity |
How long the app was open on each day (a number of seconds per day), for the
activity chart on Home. Not what you did in it.
|
| Technical logs |
The servers the app talks to record the IP address, the time and the kind of each
request for a short time, as every web server does.
|
Notereef has no ads and no analytics or tracking tools. It does not read your location,
your contacts or other apps. It does not connect to your bank or broker: the finance
entries are the ones you type in or import yourself.
What stays on your device
-
Screenshots you import (a bank's, a calendar's, a broker's) are read on your device.
The pictures are not sent anywhere; only the entries you confirm are saved to your
account.
-
Reminders on Android are scheduled on the phone itself, from what the app has loaded.
Nothing is sent to the phone from a server.
-
The app keeps you signed in and remembers a few choices (the last language, reminder
settings) in its own storage on the device.
Why, and on what legal basis
-
To give you the app: to keep your things, show them on your devices and share them
with the people you choose. This is the performance of the contract with you
(Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
-
To keep the service secure and working (the technical logs). This is a legitimate
interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data is not sold and not used for advertising or profiling, and no decisions about
you are made automatically.
Who can see it
- You.
-
The people you share with. Everyone in a workspace, a whiteboard, an expense group or
an organization sees what is in it, and of you: your name, your profile picture and
your email address. Someone you invite sees your name on the invitation.
-
A profile picture is kept at a web address that is long, random and listed nowhere,
but not protected by a password.
- The companies that run the servers for Notereef, and only to do that:
| Company |
What it does |
Where |
| Supabase, Inc. |
The database, signing in, and the storage of profile pictures. |
EU (Ireland) |
| Render Services, Inc. |
The server that lets several people edit a page at once. The text of a page
passes through it on its way to the database.
|
EU (Frankfurt, Germany) |
| GitHub, Inc. |
Hosts this website and the updates of the Windows app. It sees your IP address
when you open this site or when the app checks for an update.
|
USA |
| jsDelivr |
The first time you import a screenshot, the app downloads from it the files it
needs to read text. It sees your IP address, never the screenshot.
|
Worldwide |
Prices of stocks and funds in Finance come from Yahoo Finance through Notereef's own
server: only the symbol of the stock or fund is sent, nothing about you. If you install
the app from Google Play, Google handles the download under its own privacy policy.
These companies are based in the USA. Your content is stored in the European Union;
where one of them could reach data from outside the European Economic Area, it does so
under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy
Framework.
How long
- Until you delete it. Deleting a page, an entry or anything else removes it at once.
-
Deleting your account removes, at once, the account and everything it owns: your
pages, calendar, tasks, finances, whiteboards and profile picture, and the workspaces,
whiteboards, expense groups and organizations you made, for everyone you shared them
with.
-
What you added to a workspace or an organization that belongs to someone else stays
there as theirs and is no longer connected to you. In someone else's expense group the
name you were listed under stays.
-
Technical logs, and any backups the hosting companies hold, expire on their schedule,
typically within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data and for a copy of it, have it
corrected or deleted, have its use restricted, and object to its use. Most of this you
can do yourself in the app: change or delete anything, export your pages (a workspace,
then Export), and delete your account (Settings, Account, Delete account, or the
account deletion page).
For anything else write to
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com; you
get an answer within a month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland it is the President of
the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych,
ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa,
uodo.gov.pl).
Giving your data is voluntary, but there is no account without an email address and a
password, and the app does not work without an account.
Security
The app talks to its servers over encrypted connections only. Passwords are stored as
hashes. Rules in the database let only you and the people you share with read your
things. The content is not end-to-end encrypted, so the companies that run the servers
could technically reach it.
Children
Notereef is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.

Polityka prywatności
Notereef to aplikacja do notatek, planów i domowych finansów, na Windows i Androida. Ta
Pytania i wnioski:
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com.
Co Notereef przechowuje
| Co |
Szczegóły |
| Twoje konto |
Adres e-mail; hasło, wyłącznie w postaci skrótu, którego nikt nie odczyta;
podane imię; język, waluta i pierwszy dzień tygodnia; układ ekranu Start;
zdjęcie profilowe, jeśli je dodasz.
|
| To, co wpisujesz w aplikacji |
Przestrzenie i strony z ich treścią; wydarzenia w kalendarzu; zadania; finanse
(przychody i wydatki, akcje i inny majątek, cele oszczędnościowe); wspólne
wydatki (grupy, imiona osób, kwoty); tablice i to, co na nich narysowano;
organizacje.
|
| Udostępnianie |
Komu udostępniasz przestrzeń, tablicę, grupę wydatków lub organizację, z jaką
rolą, oraz zaproszenia czekające na odpowiedź.
|
To wykonanie umowy z Tobą
(art. 6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO).
-
Żeby usługa była bezpieczna i sprawna (dane techniczne). To prawnie uzasadniony
interes (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO).
- Ty.
-
| Firma |
Co robi |
Gdzie |
| Supabase, Inc. |
Baza danych, logowanie i przechowywanie zdjęć profilowych. |
UE (Irlandia) |
| Render Services, Inc. |
|
UE (Frankfurt, Niemcy) |
| GitHub, Inc. |
|
USA |
| jsDelivr |
Przy pierwszym imporcie zrzutu ekranu aplikacja pobiera stamtąd pliki potrzebne
do odczytania tekstu. Widzi Twój adres IP, nigdy sam zrzut.
|
któraś z firm mogłaby mieć do nich dostęp spoza Europejskiego Obszaru Gospodarczego,
programu Data Privacy Framework UE–USA.
Jak długo
-
-
wyeksportujesz strony (przestrzeń, potem Eksportuj) i usuniesz konto (Ustawienia, Konto,
Usuń konto albo
strona usuwania konta).
W pozostałych sprawach napisz na
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com;
odpowiedź dostaniesz w ciągu miesiąca.
Możesz też wnieść skargę do organu nadzorczego. W Polsce jest nim Prezes Urzędu Ochrony
Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa,
uodo.gov.pl).
Tobie i osobom, którym je udostępniasz.
więc firmy prowadzące serwery technicznie mogłyby mieć do nich dostęp.
Dzieci

Android. Diese Seite sagt, was die App über dich speichert, wo, warum und was du damit tun
kannst.
Wer verantwortlich ist
Verantwortlicher für deine Daten ist Patryk Barszczewski, der Entwickler
von Notereef. Fragen und Anträge:
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com.
Was Notereef speichert
| Was |
Einzelheiten |
| Dein Konto |
|
| Was du in die App einträgst |
Nicht, was du darin getan hast.
|
| Technische Protokolle |
importierst.
Was auf deinem Gerät bleibt
-
| Unternehmen |
Was es tut |
Wo |
| Supabase, Inc. |
Die Datenbank, die Anmeldung und die Speicherung der Profilbilder. |
EU (Irland) |
| Render Services, Inc. |

compartidos (grupos, los nombres de las personas que hay en ellos, importes);
No lee tu ubicación, tus
Estas empresas tienen su sede en EE. UU. Tu contenido se almacena en la Unión Europea;
cuenta). Para cualquier otra cosa escribe a
barszczewski.patryk01@gmail.com;
fecha.
